After looking at a few companies for my kitchen remodel job, I chose All Trades for a few reasons. I liked the fact that Ray came out and spent time with me listening to my design ideas. He offered his own ideas as well, and together, we came up with a great design plan. After taking all the measurements, he produced the design drawings at no charge. Other companies I looked at wanted to charge $300 for the same drawings. I also liked the fact that All Trades employs a large majority of the workers and does minimal sub–contracting. The work began on the start date and was completed within the time frames stated in the contract. Once the work began, the guys were there every day and almost always on time. All of the workers were super and went out of their way to ensure a professional job. Before they left each day, they made sure the work area was vacuumed and cleaned up. As with all large jobs, some issues did arise but they were quickly rectified. Once the kitchen was completed, I also contracted All Trades for the painting which I am quite pleased with. The painting had to be done on 3 rooms (kitchen, dining room and family room) all with high cathedral ceilings. The wall prep and painting job was excellent and definitely put the finishing touches on the entire job. While most large remodeling jobs are very inconvenient for the homeowner, All Trades made the extra effort to minimize these inconveniences. I am very happy with the work that was provided by All Trades and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to remodel a kitchen or bathroom.

We recently finished having our kitchen and master bathroom done by Ray and the crew at All Trades and could not be more delighted with the results. This was our second kitchen remodel in just over 5 years (different houses) and fourth overall, so we have some recent experience with the process. This was probably the best and smoothest job yet. “Meticulous” seems almost insufficient to describe Ray’s crew’s attention to the smallest details, particularly Will.
I would echo what others have said about their care in protecting the floors, carpet, cleanup and the other details that one expects but where contractors can often fall short. They were prompt, efficient and saw the job through from start to finish. There were no delays because the crew got pulled off to start another project (or perhaps fix one). Perhaps even more important, since you are going to be living with these folks in your house for several weeks, they are uniformly pleasant, polite and courteous. Doing good work is an added bonus.
The contract and design phase was also about as painless as it can get. Ray’s choices and advice were almost always right on point, including the paint color consultations. (Go for the Holiday Kitchen cabinets, you’ll thank yourself) Andrea was actually our first contact when we walked in cold to the All Trades showroom, and she proved to be extremely efficient in making sure parts of the scheduling worked for both us and them. When we told Ray that we really needed to have them done before Thanksgiving, they made it happen without fuss or muss.
The pricing was very fair; probably not the cheapest in town but we think we got full value for our money. And Ray was quite willing to work within our budget, suggesting places where we could save money in order to offset the cost of indulgences. In short, I don’t think we could recommend All Trades enthusiastically enough.

All Trades completely redid our master bathroom 10 years ago and it still looks great and is such a pleasure to use. The biggest job was the custom shower that required a lot of detail. There is quite a bit of tile in the bathroom-and it was well planned and very neatly and precisely placed. All Trades managed the different subcontractors seamlessly and the craftsmen worked very efficiently and cleaned up at the end of each day. They also discovered some structural issues that were resolved quickly. Ray had already worked out the basic floor plan to remodel our kitchen, when our original hall bathroom finally fell apart. The kitchen will have to wait, but I really like his ideas on space utilization. And the new hall bathroom plans look great. He has a lot more material in the showroom now so we were able to pick out almost everything for the bathroom right there. This is wonderful time saver.

They are soo respectful of your home and take painstaking measures to please their customers! My tile work, cabinetry work, painting, moldings, electric and plumbing were done exquisitely! We had All Trades remodel our powder room and laundry room in 2011. We also had them build me a shoe closet and remodel the clothes closet both in the Master bedroom 5 months ago. We could not have asked for a more attentive and professional crew. They listened to what we wanted for each project and answered our questions. We hired All Trades and couldn’t be happier. From start to finish they were very professional. They came up with great ideas for us and always listened to what we had to say. We had our old bathroom remodeled, it looks amazing! New tub , beautiful glass shower doors, new tile and gorgeous cabinets that have so much room for storage. All Trades did a significant attic renovation to my house this past year. From the beginning planning to the end of the job, Ray and his staff went above and beyond on our project. They were very accommodating, especially to the fact that we were living in the house with 2 small children while the work was being done. Ray offered great design advice that worked out perfectly and Andrea kept us apprised of our work schedule (while patiently answering all of my questions). The projected timeline and budget were adhered to and our house was left secure and clean at the end of each work day.
The contracting team consisted of a group of professionals who paid close attention to every detail and took extreme pride in their work. I especially appreciate how attentive they were to the fact that our indoor cats shouldn’t go outside. They went out of their way to keep them safe. You just can’t put a price on that!
Our bathroom turned out beautifully and added value to our home. I’m so glad that we found Ray and his team. I highly recommend them and I’m looking forward to our next project!

We had a complete master bath remodel. This was our second project with All Trades. They work professionally, efficiently and communicate well. The craft people take care and treat your property as if it were theirs. The communication from the office and from individual workers is outstanding. They arrive on time (usually around 8 am) and are ready to work. They clean up at the end of each day. All Trades is a “one stop” place – from design (excellent) through implementation they take care of everything. Best of all, no surprises. We could not be more satisfied.

Very pleased with Ray and his team at All Trades. The kitchen came out amazing! Ray was there every step of the way, and the project went very smooth. Was also great to have Ray assist in selecting colors – from everything to the cabinets to the floors – and then after – his team even did the paint for us. It was nice to have an all-in-one solution, and Ray and his project manager Andrea were always responsive to our questions, and she was awesome with giving us timelines and regular updates. We had one small leak with the kitchen sink a month later, and Ray had the plumber there immediately to address it and fix it. You can’t ask for better service.
After hearing all the neighbors and friends who had nightmare experiences getting their kitchen done by other contractors, we’re so glad we went with Ray. No surprises, no hidden costs, and delivered in the time frame we expected. Best of all, the wife loves the kitchen!!

While preparing our Kitchen Renovation, we needed to develop a Scope of Work together with 3 bids. The process proved most difficult as each trade group (electrical, plumbing, flooring, cabinetry, carpentry, etc.) was invested in their own outcome – none focused on ours, a beautiful kitchen we were proud to show. Ray Ferrera and his team came in, bid the entire job, scheduled and managed the trade groups, overseeing all phases of the process. Ray offered personal insights into things that had worked in most areas based on related experiences. I would absolutely recommend AllTrades, Inc. for complete kitchen renovations.

Ray designed the ‘cradle tub’ bath in my Hunterdon home. I wish you could see a ‘ before’ picture juxtaposed with the pictures shown. Without changing the footprint of the existing master bath, Ray created a unique, contemporary and spa-like bath by relocating the vanity and tub areas and suggesting the beautiful tub you see pictured. We could not be more pleased with the results. Our new bath looks twice as large as what we had prior to Ray’s intervention. Ray is a true professional and very accessible. There were no problems on the job, but I felt confident that if there were, Ray would make sure they were solved or corrected. Since the bathroom remodel, we contracted Ray once again to update our kitchen, which we love too.

Ray and the All Trades Team have completed many projects for our family over the past 10 years including molding, electrical upgrades, painting, two bathroom remodels and a full kitchen upgrade to name a few. The team evaluates the project, provides options and completes on time. Any changes from original budget are discussed and agreed to prior to start. The quality of the workmanship is excellent. Finally, they leave the jobsite each day after a full cleanup.
